Yes, in most cases. A driveway is the most common place we build a unit, provided there is suitable access and enough space to install and use it safely.

Yes, in most cases. Rear gardens are a common location. We need a clear route in with at least 2,150 mm of height clearance and ground that is suitable to build on.

A clear, safe route from the van to the spot where the unit will stand, free from low branches, narrow gates, tight turns or anything else that would get in the way. The minimum height clearance on the route is 2,150 mm.

Often, yes. Because the unit is modular and carried in by hand, we can usually work in places that would rule out a shipping container delivery.

We normally ask for 7 days' notice. Shorter notice is sometimes possible, subject to availability, so call us on 0800 043 9302 if you are in a hurry.

In most cases, no. The unit is temporary, not fixed to the ground and removed when you have finished, so planning permission is not usually required.

It may be needed if the unit will stay in place long term, is on a sensitive site, or is at a listed property or in a conservation area. If in doubt, check with your local planning authority before the install.

Yes, in most cases. Because the units are modular we can extend one that has filled up faster than expected, or supply an additional unit if your storage needs grow.

Four weeks. After that the hire simply continues for as long as you need it, until you ask us to collect.

No. There is no fixed end date, so the unit suits a few weeks of storage during a project or a much longer arrangement.

Give us 7 working days' notice, in writing, when you are ready to off-hire. Empty the unit and make sure we can reach it safely, and we come back to dismantle it and take it away. Hire charges run until the unit has been collected.

Yes. Call or email us at least 7 working days before the scheduled start date to avoid a charge. Cancellations within 7 working days of the start date are charged at the installation fee. Consumers also have a legal right to cancel, set out in our terms and conditions.

Yes. Hazardous, flammable, combustible or toxic materials (petrol, compressed gas, propane tanks and similar chemicals), perishable food, live plants, radioactive materials, stolen goods and anything illegal must not be stored in the unit.

A firm, reasonably level surface is preferred. Grass can work in some cases, agreed before installation, so tell us about the ground when you enquire. We also need a clear route in with 2,150 mm of height clearance.

We are based in Luton, Bedfordshire and cover a wide surrounding area. Installation and collection within 30 miles of Luton are included; beyond that, £2 + VAT per mile is added. Check whether your event site is covered.

The units are weatherproof steel and protect contents from normal outdoor conditions. For moisture-sensitive items such as sofas, mattresses and fabrics we recommend Absorpoles, which manage natural humidity changes without power. One is advised per 2 × 2 m of unit.

No. We do not insure the contents or the unit. Whoever hires the unit is responsible for insuring the contents, and the unit itself if necessary, for the hire period.

No. We deliver and assemble the unit and come back to dismantle it. Loading and unloading is done by the policyholder, the contractors or the removal team working on the claim, and they keep the keys.

Usually with seven days' notice, and sometimes sooner subject to availability. Installations run 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays by appointment.

The item sizes are typical UK dimensions for each piece of furniture or appliance, and the packing routine places every item into the real internal space of each unit (2 m modules, 2.15 m tall inside). Boxes stack, sofas and mattresses do not, and nothing goes above shoulder height. It is a realistic estimate, not a guarantee: if your list is close to the line, go a size up or ask us.

Pick the nearest thing by size, or add boxes to cover it. For anything unusual, bulky or heavy, send us the dimensions and we will advise the right size.

Boxes and crates stack, and they can sit on flat-topped furniture such as chests of drawers and appliances. Sofas, armchairs, beds, TVs and mattresses are treated as items that must not have anything on top, which is how we would advise packing them.

It packs from the back wall forwards and stops at the door, so a well-filled unit will have little aisle space. If you need regular access to everything, go a size up or keep the fill below about 75%.

Take the next size up. Weekly prices rise gently between sizes and it is far easier to load a unit with a little space spare. Installation and de-installation are charged per size, so check the quote for the difference.

Yes. Units are often installed side by side or end to end on larger sites, and the 4 × 4 m and 4 × 6 m sizes are already made of 2 × 4 m modules joined together. If the calculator says your list needs more than our largest unit, talk to us.

Delivery and collection transport are included in the price for any address within 30 road miles of our depot. Beyond that we add £2 + VAT for every extra mile, each way, so a town 40 miles out adds about £20 + VAT for delivery and the same again for collection. The quote works it out from your full postcode.

The Congestion Charge is added at £15 per visit only where the full postcode is inside the central zone. There is no ULEZ charge: our van is ULEZ compliant, so nothing is added for driving inside the zone.
